pale pink, (slightly) sweet rosé from the blue zinfandel grape. It is therefore not white.

White Zinfandel was launched in the 1970s and became so popular that White Merlot and White Grenache have also come on the market. All rosés! The label also says: blush wine = white wine with a pink blush.

Zinfandel is THE grape of California, even though it has ancestors in Europe.

Red wines and rosés are made from it.
