Is there less acid in sweet wine?
Wine can taste SWEET or SOUR
and everything IN BETWEEN
SWEET TASTE COMES LARGELY FROM
THE UNFERMENTED SUGAR
ACIDIC TASTE COMES FROM
THE ACIDS IN A WINE
Acids in wine = tartaric acid, malec acid and lactic acid.
But: sweet and sour also influence each other.
This can make the taste different from what you expect.
SWEET TASTE =
unfermented sugar + little acid
MILD TO DRY TASTE =
unfermented sugar + lots of acid
no sugar + little acid
CRISPLY DRY to SOUR TASTE =
no sugar + lots of acid
